Off the clock
Life outside code
Outside of engineering, a few things have my attention. Cars are the serious one.
Cars
Now drivingThe current peak
BMW M2 (G87)
This is where the journey is right now. Every car before it was a deliberate move up, not just a new set of keys; chasing more engineering, more involvement, a better drive each time. The M2 is the payoff: rear-wheel drive, a proper M straight-six, and the most engaging car I've owned. And I'm not done climbing.
Five cars in, and every one was a step up, not just a swap. The climb so far, newest first:

More that keeps me going

Gym
Lifting is my reset button; a few sessions a week to clear the head and build the kind of discipline that carries straight back into the work.
ATV & adventure
Dunes, trails, whatever the map runs out on. Nothing clears the head like an engine, open terrain, and no signal for a few hours.

Tennis
My newest hobby. Picked up the racket recently and I'm already hooked, on court as often as the week allows.
